This is cool! I tried White Christmas and Tom's Diner, both were the top result!

Jesus

This week's sign that the apocalypse is upon us...

An Italian judge heard arguments Friday on whether a small-town parish priest should stand trial for asserting that Jesus Christ existed.

The priest’s atheist accuser, Luigi Cascioli, says the Roman Catholic Church has been deceiving people for 2,000 years with a fable that Christ existed, and that the Rev. Enrico Righi violated two Italian laws by reasserting the claim.

Dallas & Extreme Makeover

The past few days have probably made my body angry at me! Briana and I headed to Dallas to visit some friends this weekend. We stayed with Curtis, who has a great new house. He had a housewarming party, so we were up late.

Monday morning I got up at about the time I went to bed Saturday night. Extreme Makeover Home Edition is just north of town building a house, and a big group of us went to help with the "Braveheart" scene where all the volunteers converge on the house to help get started.

We didn't actually do any work, but I hope to help some throughout the week. At the least I'm driving the volunteer shuttle tomorrow evening.

Cars

Geely (pronounced Jeely) has been selling cars in China since 1997 and now is preparing to export them into North America. (MSNBC)
Uh, yeah, I would change the name of your US company so it isn't pronounced the same as one of the biggest flopping movies of all times.

Ski Trip

Home from Breckenridge!

Briana and I joined friends Mark, Clayton, Sarah, and Christina as we tagged along with Clayton's church group from OSU for a week in Breckenridge for some skiing.

Monday, traveling...
Kansas is incredibly boring. The group from OSU, plus Clayton and Mark depart Stillwater at midnight. We leave from Bartlesville 6 hours later. We arrive barely an hour after they do. Weather was great.

Tuesday, skiing Breck...
Briana and I stayed on our own so we didn't have to share space. As we get ready to head out, it goes from a normal cloudy day to snow blowing sideways. Skiing is difficult, it's hard to see, we finish early and hit the hot tub.

Wednesday, Vail...
Another cold, windy day. Travel to Vail wasn't too bad. The weather grew worse as the day went on. On our final run we hit a flat area part way down. We were poling across it in clouds so thick you could barely see 5-10 feet in front of you, it was snowing, and the wind was blowing across us at about 40mph. The drive home was just as bad. Commercial vehicles had to have chains, a truck had slid, causing two cars to crash. It takes about an hour and a half to make it less than 30 miles. The reward: shopping at the outlet mall. I find a good pair of pants and a belt. Naturally, the girls find a lot more. Briana and I find a great place to eat for dinner. Nice and cheap, especially for a ski town, and the food was great!

Thursday, more Breck...
Overnight the sky clears up, dropping the temperature below zero in the morning. We break from the big group and take some pictures. That night we head out for the final night of dinner and drinks.

Friday, home!
The trip home was just as boring. We stopped in Ponca to eat at the famous Enriques.

The trip was a lot of fun and it was great to ski again after almost two years off. This was my third time to ski and I managed to only fall once! Next time I'll have to take a few more chances.

It's nice to travel on a Friday too. During the drive home yesterday it felt like we had to work today. It's so nice to be home with a few days to adjust back and get a few things done.
